San Antonio

San Antonio is the second largest city of Texas after Dallas and seventh largest city of United States of America, with a population of over 1.3 million people. It is located in the south-central part of Texas and the American Southwest. It was the fourth fastest growing city in the United States from 2004 to 2006 and fifth fastest growing, in 2007 and 2008. The city was named after San Antonio de Padua, whose feast day is on June 13, when Spanish explorers stopped in the area in 1691. This city is famous for Spanish Missions, the Alamo, the Tower of Americas, the Alamo Bowl and the River Talk, and is visited by over 26 million tourists annually.
